The Service Technician will act as an essential interface between the field organization and internal support structure by providing timely onsite technical assistance to Customers.

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical, or related.

• Minimum 1 year experience trouble-shooting and  repairing complex opto-electrical and mechanical equipment onsite.

• HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant technical subject.
• Minimum of 2 years Field Service experience.

Our client, a global leader in life science, are looking to appoint a Senior Database Engineer.  As a Database Developer, you will be a member of the Computational Biology Department, focused on sustaining, improving, developing and testing of existing and new database applications for our clients sequencing business. You will take part in design decisions for web-based genomic databases as well as project tracking systems and promote best practices in accordance with our clients software development lifecycle.

Skills/Attributes:

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Physical Sciences or related degree; advanced degree is a plus.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL, plus related tools.
• Extensive experience in web-based database application development.
• Bioinformatics, Biology or Chemistry exposure is a plus.

You will be involved as an expert in development and implementation of customer applications and organize presentations and seminars on all aspects of our clients products.

Our client, a leader in Bioscience, are looking to appoint a Regional Field Applications Supervisor.  The chosen candidate can be located in UK or Nordic region.  Job duties include developing detailed customer installation and/or system integration plans and training, developing and evaluating Field Applications Scientists. In addition you will serves as second level support for significant issues.

Skills/Attributes:

• PhD or MSc degree preferably in molecular biology or related field.
• 3 years biotech experience preferred.
• Previous successful team leadership roles are preferred.
